LIFIMAX – Industry ROWL ( Rotor to Stator)

LiFi can also be used in industrial environments for secure data transmission via light. An example is our product ROWL, which transfers data from a rotating component (rotor) to a fixed component (stator). This eliminates the need for slip rings while enabling fast data transfer via light.

ROWL is a wireless optical data coupling system based on LiFi technology. It operates without radio frequency waves, is immune to RF interference, and cannot be jammed from outside the beam.  The maximum communication distance between the elements is 160 mm. ROWL supports rotational speeds up to 30,000 rpm and achieves a data transfer rate of 1 Gbps.
